♥ Fiction – the rain…

On a rainy night, Daisy was heading home after work but she'd forgotten to bring her umbrella. She ran under a small tree, hoping that the rain would ease off a bit. A boy named Jayden with an umbrella saw her; he is a player, never dates girls for over 3 months. As he walked towards her, he notices her straight blonde hair and as he got closer, a pair of sparkly green eyes met his. And like all love stories, they were attracted to each other and started dating about 2 weeks later.

Daisy is very loyal to Jayden, but Jayden still haven't gotten rid of his playboy side and she'd realised that and has accepted it. A while later Jayden noticed, whenever they walked in the rain together, Daisy would always step away from the cover of the umbrella and into the rain, lifting her head up to let the rain drops fall on her face. Every time he saw her do that, he wanted to do the same and get drenched with her but she stopped him every time.
"Why won't you let me get wet with you?" he'd always question
"because… I don't want you to catch a cold."
"So if you catch a cold when you get wet, they why are you doing it?" he asked again. She'd always smile back and not answer the question. At the end, he'd given up on arguing and let her walk in the rain while he walks alongside with an umbrella, because he'd feel happy when he sees her so joyful.

But moments of happiness don't last long, 3 months later Jayden fell in love with another girl.

He broke up with Daisy when they went out to dinner, she accepted silently, only nodding her head and looking down. That night he walked her home for the last time and kissed her for the last time,
"I'm sorry, walking in the rain with you and seeing you so happy is the best time I've had" he said. As soon as he finished his sentence, Daisy started crying. He held her in his arm and let her express her sadness, moments later he said "I've been wanting to ask you, how come you never let me walk under the rain and get drenched with you?" she was silent for a while, and then she slowly replied "because I don't want you to know, that I'm actually crying…."
