♥ Long time no rain~~
The weather was fine this morning, so I never would have guessed that it’d be pouring water in the afternoon. It’s like the gate of heaven opened and water was just gushing out like mad. The thing is… I would have liked the rain if I didn’t wash my hair last night >”<
Alright, so it rained for the first time in months. Our rain water tank is finally being filled up bit by bit but also means that the clothes take long and longer to dry. Since I’m the one taking charge of the laundry while mum is having a holiday overseas, things kind of get frustrating. With the need for school uniforms is really a big pressure for the reason that my blouse is white and Ben has got dark blue blouse. If you ever do the laundry at your home you should know that you wash the whites and the coloureds separately because if you chuck you beautifully white garment in with a coloured one like red it is highly likely that it’ll become PINK! xP. Anyway, as I was saying the pressure is gaining up on me because it’s been raining and the clothes take forever to dry since I can’t exactly hang them outside plus both me and my brother need our god damned uniform!!!*sigh*
School wasn’t much fun during wet weathers (not that it’s any fun in the first place) and to top that up several sport was cancelled due to wet court. I don’t know what the community service team would have done if it weren’t raining today *shrugs*, the main teacher who organize all the crap that we do was away today I doubt the other teacher will be able to throw together something useful. So all of the sport that has been cancelled was all rounded up into the big class room to watch a movie…. And out of the entire movie they could have put on it had to be ‘Hotel For Dogs’! Never mind the boring movie; at least it’s something but the 'cinema' was cramped with around 70 people and half was chatting away while on the big screen dogs were barking out loud… talk about deafening volumes *rolls eyes*.
Speaking of dogs, my dog LOVES the rain. When I got home she was sitting in front of the slide door with mud ALL OVER her, at least her tail was still moving from side to side uncontrollably like it was about to break off. So I gave her a shower. Now what I don’t get is that she loves to roll in the mud and run around in the rain, but for me to give her a bath was like I’m trying to murder her = =”. She struggled and fought until the very end… giving her a wash is such a pain in the butt. If resisting outrageously in the bath tub is not enough, after I wiped her down with a
towel she decided she was going to skip the drying process… the hair dryer xD. Yes, there is a hell of a lot of thing she hates and this includes vacuum cleaners. So I wasted about 45 minutes blowing her hair while she jumped and bit trying to dodge the dryer. She was making a lot of effort and so was I, the difference being I was the one who got tired first. Never try to play stamina competition with a Jack Russel terrier… because you will lose. They just seemed to have endless amount of energies. If she know you’re giving her a bath, she will literally let you chase her until you drop then she’ll be running in circles around you to tease you = =”. Anyway, all my efforts were wasted as soon as I let her back into the backyard. She began jumping in the mud puddles again xP.
