♥ Beatiful firework, beatiful night~

No, this is not about the river fire. My mum won't let me go because she thinks I'm gonna get raped when I'm on my why back home. =/

This was on Friday night, at Robertson State School's Spring Festival.

I got there at about 5 o'clock (which is about 1 hr after the official starting time) & the first person I spot as I approached the back gate was my old ESL teacher, Mrs K! She remembered me this time, the last time I went to see her she didn't recognise me a bit~ For some reason she's manage to remember my cousins George & Mary from like.... 10 years ago! Anyway, as soon as I reached the gate she greeted me and told me that Chao'd been looking for me (as expected :P). Great, if I have to go look for him it'd probably take me hours since I wasn't wearing my glasses.... I was pretty much blind @_@. If Mrs K didn't tell me where to look I'd probably be wondering around the school for the rest of the afternoon trying to find him. LOL!

As I walked towards the front gate, I went passed many classrooms. The place filled with many memories, although I was only at that school for less than 2 years. Wait.... AHA!!!No wonder Mrs K doesn't remember me~~! Didn't stay long enough for her to do that. Anyways, as I was saying... walking to the front gate as directed and I didn't know exactly where to look since there were a few extra buildings around the area. All I remember was as I approach the notice board near the office I saw this familiar figure running towards and the next thing I remember was a massive bear hug! Yep, he practically jumped on me~ :L The joyful look on his face isn't something I can describe with words.
He was wearing his school uniform... But not properly. The shirt was out (as usual), the tie hanged on a slight angle and slightly pulled down. Easy enough to spot when he was in a crowd later on that afternoon since the place was just filled with students and parents.

At about 6 o'clock I kind of got bored since there wasn't much to do and none of my R.S.S friends were there, I thought I might as well go back to my granny's place (Which is about 5 min walk from the school) and come back at about 7:30 for the fireworks. That's exactly what I did. I went back, had dinner and watched Taiwanese TV before I walked back again (lots of walking on that afternoon, good exercise xD). It was pretty much all dark by the time I got back there, but the lights at where everything goes on were so bright that the dark probably doesn't make much difference. A crowd was already gathering on one side of the oval, ready to watch what they'd all come here for while I was walking around trying to find Chao (again~ x]). When I'd found him with the group of people same grade as him it was about 7:45. The host of the Fest was announcing that the firework will start soon & that everyone should be heading towards the oval.

Okay, so the wire went all the way around the border of the oval since they don't want anyone in the danger zone. Well, the danger zone is exactly where Chao belong (according to himself). So instead joining with the crowd, he dragged me all the way to the other side of the oval... The out of bound area! Obviously there are no one around... Not even close to anyone, it was just us 2 and we are pretty close to the actual thing (That freaked me out a bit)! I was eventually convinced that it wasn't going to be that dangerous since the guy who'll be lighting it is like standing right next to the thing. Once it'd started, on top of the noise if the firework was the screaming of little kids from the other side of the oval..... Obviously fascinated by it. I realised that Chao had picked the best spot to watch fireworks, every little detail can be easily seen. I was so engaged in it that I didn't realise the patch of grass that I was sitting was wet until the end :P. It was all over too quickly I'd say (well, can't expect much from a primary school right?), but even so it was one of the best night I've had~ ^ ^
