♥ Basketball magnet
I was certain that I got used to being hit in the head by a basketball, because I always seemed to appear in the wrong place at the wrong time. But today, I found out that I was wrong. I realised that I AM a basketball magnet.
No, I am not a fan of getting pegged at and I certainly don’t like it when there are about 5 balls raining on top of me. Badminton was again cancelled today since the yr 12s has the QCS going on at where badminton usually takes place. So like last week, all the badminton people got chucked in with the PCYC basketball group. Somehow, even the name clearly says “basketball”; no one actually played a proper game. In 4 half courts, the kids divided themselves equally (somehow) and just randomly chucked the balls at the hoops. Amazingly, one of the half courts was dominated by grade 11s. Without anyone saying anything, we formed a semi-circle around the court & just started shooting instead of playing elimination like the other 3 court. As you may know, I am absolutely hopeless at shooting so I’ve decided to take on the job of collecting balls that went out and throw it back in the court. In this process, I was hit countless times. With 5 balls flying around, all aiming at the same hoop, the job was definitely not simple. I have to grab the bouncing ball and throw it at someone waiting and “try” to dodge the flying ones. Not very enjoyable! For most the time the balls came from upward, which means they are most likely to land of my head. And yes, I got hit on the head countless times. Whenever the ball bounces off the hoop, it always flies right towards ME! AAARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!
