♥ Animania O9

I should have written this up ages ago. But since I've been pretty busy with all the packing & the freaking tooth ache, I really didn't have the time. This is suppose to be a 'holiday'... right?

Animania Festival, a festival (supposed to be) like Super Nova. I saw pictures of it when it was at Sydney, it looked big. Darleen told me we had to go early since the line will be very long (Australia is really crazy about anime) so I have to go to her house for a sleep over. We ended up staying up til midnight, when we needed to wake up quite early in the morning... *sigh*

For some reason we actually woke up early (& felt a bit drowsy too). We took the train to the City and as soon as we arrived we could see A LOT of people in cosplays, since we didn't know exactly where to go we basically followed the cosplayed people (stalker much?). When we got there our mouth just fell wide open & our eyes widened. The line was effing long... as expected. I think we waited for about 40 minutes before we could get it.
The thing is called Animaia Festival, but to my disappointment it was just a couple of stalls selling anime stuff in a very cramped space. I still can't believe I paid 25 bucks for that crap, I mean it looked totally different from the picture I saw. The only good part was probably taking some photos with some cosplayers (^w^). But then my camera decided to die out on me so I only managed to take 2 = =". As for Darleen, she probably took about 5 times more than me since she's not afraid of asking people to take photos with her... unlike me~!
Since the thing was crap, we left much earlier than expected. Darleen & David are both pretty hungry by the time we got out anyway... even when we already ate a KFC snack box each while waiting in the line to go in (I didn't even finish mine). The 'spoiled child' Darleen had made the decision that we're going to eat at a Korean BBQ resturant (talk about expensive lunch). To be honest, the food was actually quite nice, if it weren't for my toothache. I think the stuff I consumed the most was the free icy water... Freezing my tooth every time I took a bite. David & Darleen both insisted on shouting me, so I kind of had a free lunch =P.
Last stop before going home... Funhouse = ="
The only we did was watched David on the DDR..... I gotta tell you he is one scary monster when he's on that machine. I've never seen someone played such a high speed in the game, really scary...
